Accessibility
What we have built in, and what to do if something does not work for you.

What we target
We aim at WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a standard, not a certificate, and no site fully clears it forever. Below is what is actually in place, so you can judge for yourself rather than take a badge on trust.
What is in place
- Body text meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background, checked rather than assumed.
- Everything works by keyboard, with a visible focus ring on every interactive element and a skip link to the main content.
- Motion is limited to short scroll reveals, and all of it stops if your system is set to reduce motion.
- Tap targets on phones are at least 44 pixels, and nothing depends on hovering.
- The age gate is a proper dialog: focus stays inside it and it is announced to screen readers.
- Text resizes with your browser settings and the layout reflows down to 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling.
- Decorative images carry empty alt text so screen readers skip them.
Known gaps
- The embedded map on the visit page comes from Google and we cannot control its accessibility. The full address and a directions link sit next to it in plain text for that reason.
- Product images are currently category photography rather than shots of the specific item, so their descriptions are general.
In the shop
The store is at street level with free parking on site. If you need help getting in or want someone to bring products out to you, call(403) 452-8850 and we will meet you.
Tell us when something breaks
If any part of this site blocks you, call (403) 452-8850 and say so. We would rather hear about it than not, and we will fix it and say when it is done.
